Dreams

I love, love, love to dream. Dreams fascinate me..always have. I get to escape in my sleep and dream whatever I want. Anything is possible. Some of my dreams feel so real and there's nothing like waking up after a nice dream.

Some quotes I found:

Dreams are illustrations... from the book your soul is writing about you. ~Marsha Norman

A dream which is not interpreted is like a letter which is not read. ~The Talmud

Pay attention to your dreams - God's angels often speak directly to our hearts when we are asleep. ~Quoted in The Angels' Little Instruction Book by Eileen Elias Freeman, 1994

That which the dream shows is the shadow of such wisdom as exists in man, even if during his waking state he may know nothing about it.... We do not know it because we are fooling away our time with outward and perishing things, and are asleep in regard to that which is real within ourself. ~Paracelsus, quoted in The Dream Game

I think we dream so we don't have to be apart so long. If we're in each other's dreams, we can play together all night. ~Bill Watterson, Calvin & Hobbes~

We are crazy:)

Saturday night we went to see Sanjaya. lolololol I am serious, we did go the the American Idol Tour and saw them in Manchester, NH. I was never a Sanjaya fan, still not, but the concert was interesting. It just confirmend to me that my #1 pick, Jordin, deserved to win. And Melinda Doolittle is a close second and derserves to go far in her career.

Sorry, no pictures to post.

:( R.I.P Putty

My children went from having no dogs to 2 dogs within a year. Joe and Amie got their Puggle, named Putty last year. Last Friday Putty was hit by a car in front of their house and died. Justin was the man of the hour as he carried Putty to the car to bring her to the vet just in case. He did not witness her being struck, but poor Jarrett and Amie did. We all loved her and she will be missed tremendously!

2 days before the tragedy Casey and I were over there having dinner. Molly and Putty had a blast and Amie took pictures. Who knew this would be the last picture of Putty?

Back to school

Summer is over and we are once again in an adjustment period. Justin is settling in at Westford Academy and Casey is in her same school but in what is now considered middle school. I AM OLD!! 39 1/2 this month! Is it too soon to begin freaking out about turning 40 in 6 months?

California was beautiful and I saw plenty of it. We stayed one night in San Diego at Nicky and Brian's, drove to Santa Barbara and stayed 2 nights, then one night in LA and the last one back in San Diego. I love driving the Pacific Coast Highway! If only I was driving a convertible! And I must mention how incredibly beautiful Nicky and Brian's house is! I am so Happy for them.

Leaving San Diego was difficult. Lauren (Casey's friend) and her step-dad Brian drove us to the airport. I think I cried the most as we said farewell. Life will not be the same again but in my heart I know we will keep in touch and always be friends.

We ended the summer by going White Water Rafting on the Dead River in The Forks, Maine. We went Labor Day Weekend on high water release day (LEVEL 4 RAPIDS BABY!) This was my first time but it won't be my last. It got very scary at times but I guess that is the thrill right? Now I have to go skydiving because it's on my "list".

Nothing to report on my health. Checkups and tests coming in a few months and no sense worrying now.

Will post again soon.

Love and light~
